DAYS OF DISCORD

Days of Discord is an epic sci-fi card battler set in a bizarre near-future Earth, 20 years after a strange substance – dubbed Pandemonium – falls from space and wreaks genetic havoc on all living things it touches. The world has split into many factions, most fighting for survival. Battles feature real-time turn-based action, in settings that show the varied after-effects of Pandemonium.

 

Days of Discord launched worldwide with 250 cards, illustrated by a dozen international artists. The paintings below are a small sample of the work created. Each image required an initial creative brief, several sketches to establish the look and pose of the character and 2-3 rounds of color rendering and polish.
